Seventeen Rotarian golfers and one guest, Dale Kreinenkamp of Don
Lorenz, were greeted by a very hot but beautiful day of golf at St. Clair CC.
Like the lyric of old song of Seals & Croft,
“Summer breeze, makes me fine blowing through the jasmine in my mind”
made the day extremely comfortable despite the heat. No jasmine though.
Just the smell of Cris Conner’s cigars drifting about the course.
Ace Steve LaFara was heard lamenting the fact that he cannot determine
the distances of his new, extremely expensive fitted new irons. Steve, I
can’t hit the irons I have now, why would I want new?
Despite the heat, some good scoring occurred.
Medalist honors went to Mike Regan with a very fine 78 despite the fact
of missing a less than four foot, but inches outside the leather, eagle putt on
the 18th hole!

a great day had by all!
The next outing will be at Norwood CC on Wednesday July 11 hosted
by Doc Jones. Guests are welcome, we make Rotarians by inviting guests!
